How it Works

SmartVoice Line Replacement Service replaces your local and long-distance telephone service.

Select how many phone lines (minimum of four) you want for each office location, how many toll-free and local numbers, and the type of phone numbers you want (basic, basic with voicemail, follow-me number with voicemail, fax, automated attendant or conferencing – each is explained in more detail, below.)

Many of the phone number types available can be customized for your specific business need or for each employee’s specific working situation (in the field, in the office, etc.)

What Happens In Your Offices?

A VoIP gateway is installed in each of your offices. The gateway connects to your existing phone system. We install and maintain the gateway, while you maintain your existing modem and data connection. This allows you to extract extra value from your current data service provider, and lower your business telephone costs by the maximum amount.

For each office, SmartVoice will be configured to accommodate the number of phone lines and phone numbers you have ordered. What’s more, you can choose to add enhanced features, customizable to your particular business needs.

Simultaneously, your employees can use a convenient online tool to manage voicemail, faxes, and options for Call Forwarding and Call Screening.

Phone Number Types

Basic Number: A local or toll-free number.

Voicemail Number: A local or toll-free number with built-in voicemail.

Follow-Me Number with Voicemail: A local or toll-free number with enhanced call forwarding and call screening.

Conferencing Number: A toll-free number for hosting scheduled or always-on conference calls.

Fax Number: A local or toll-free number which receives and stores faxes.
Automated Attendant Number: A local or toll-free number which greets and routes callers to the right person, department or information.
